The next 5th International Conference of Medical Unions will take place the next 25th and 26th of January in the spanish city of Alicante, organized by the State Confederation of Medical Unions (CESM), together with the Medical Union of the Valencian Community (CESM CV) and the Official College of Physicians of Alicante (COMA).
This international union meeting will debate about the main current problems affecting the profession. During two days, representatives of the global medical union will address, in 6 work tables and a discussion table, issues such as occupational health and assaults, the comparison between public o private health systems, working conditions, union actions and pressure measures in conflicts, migration of professionals, specialized medical training and continuing medical training and the future of the medical profession.
In addition, the will be an inaugural conference about the candidacy of the doctor-patient relationship as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco, given by Patricio Martínez, honorary president of CESM.
In the coming weeks there will be more information about the participating unions, the speakers and presenters of each table and the tourist offer of the mediterranean city to accompany the important international event that will take place in January at the Alicante Congress Palace.
